About the role
The Field Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring overall onsite customer satisfaction with Nova Biomedical products within an assigned geographical territory. This role provides both reactive and proactive consultative support, managing all field service requirements and exercising independent judgment to prioritize customer calls, schedule local calendars, manage inventory, and determine appropriate onsite activity duration. Key responsibilities include driving local KPI performance-such as On-site Response Time, On-time PMs, Second Days, Recalls, and Primary Representative Utilization-while performing new product installations, corrective and preventive maintenance, and delivering training to laboratory staff at all levels. The specialist will complete and return service documentation and regulatory paperwork to meet U.S. FDA requirements, as well as conduct clinical and biotechnology application activities (IQ / OQ) like correlation, linearity, and precision to assist with instrument validation for local accreditation compliance.
