• Basic computer knowledge for data input and reporting
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills

Description :

Provides clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment.

Completes patient records in a timely manner.

Provides instruction to patients and / or family members.

Progresses patient treatment as appropriate.

Assists in modifying and resetting functional goals.

Carries a patient load that reflects productivity standards.

Maintains appropriate treatment records and completes accurate patient charge sheets.

Accurately reflects time spent, procedures performed, and equipment issued in patient charges.

Maintains technical expertise through attendance and participation in continuing education activities and departmental in-services.

Attends a minimum of 95% of scheduled in-services and departmental meetings.

Completes one off-campus continuing education activity per year.

Follows care path guidelines for patient and family education and documentation of home programs.

Teaches proper use of equipment issued to patients and family members.

Schedules and prioritizes daily work assignments.

Delegates basic patient treatments to support personnel as appropriate.

Assists with volunteers and students as requested.

Utilizes time-care consistently and correctly.

Uses independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard protocols are established.

Coordinates activities of others and leads in the same work performed without supervision.

Works directly with patients and customers.

Engages with internal and external customers via telephone or face-to-face interactions.

Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and staff.
