Thomas More University seeks a full-time, entry-level, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration teaching Finance beginning Fall 2025. This is a tenure track position for a doctorally-qualified candidate from a regionally accredited institution. Primary responsibilities are teaching 12 hours per semester in undergraduate and graduate-level Finance courses in both traditional and non-traditional (adult accelerated) formats. The position entails teaching the graduate and undergraduate Finance courses as well as, potentially at least some of the following : Investment Analysis, Personal Finance, upper level corporate finance courses, behavioral finance, and international finance. Experience with online course delivery is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will also be primary manager of the new College of Business Finance Lab, and should be familiar with the Morningstar SW for finance.

All faculty members advise students, remain current on topics and practices related to the discipline, contribute to the campus community in various ways including committee assignments and assisting the Admissions Office in recruiting for the program, and engage in scholarly work.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in finance. Applicants should have up-to-date skills in and familiarity with technology and learning-management systems.
