Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Brownwood, Texas.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details :

  • 2 years of experience in service line required
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
  • Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • 38-bed unit with daily census of 35 patients
  • 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule (Saturday / Sunday)
  • Self-scheduling system
  • 12 hours of orientation provided
  • One pre-approved time off allowed
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Charting system experience required (Altera experience preferred but not required)
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
  • Hard document due date : Thursday 2pm CST prior to start
  • Non-billable modules completed during orientation (average 6-8 hours)
  • Must maintain 150-mile radius from facility
  • Previous permanent staff must be gone 1 year to return as traveler
  • Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing

The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern charting systems to support clinical operations.
