Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,116 per week in Chicago, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Emergency Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : 2 years of recent acute care experience in the Emergency Department License : Active Nursing License required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have : - Ability to float to different units as needed. - Strong critical thinking and assessment skills. - Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and IV sedation. Description : Position includes responsibilities as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The shift will be 3 nights a week from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM. There is a requirement for every other weekend work and no holiday time off requests will be accepted. Registered Nurse must float within the facility’s discretion. Successful candidates will have experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. The role requires knowledge of interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. Clinicians will be tasked with triaging patients and managing ventilated patients. All candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including compliance and responsiveness for required documentation.
