Seasoned Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

• Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
• to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement. This role requires excellent litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills, with a proven track record of favorable case results.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, nursing home negligence, Medical Malpractice, and wrongful death claims.
• Conduct all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trial.
• Develop case strategies, evaluate settlement value, and provide legal counsel to clients on their rights and legal options.
• Lead and supervise paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff in case preparation and management.
• Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and mediations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery responses, and trial briefs.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high-quality service and legal guidance.
• Stay current with relevant laws, court decisions, and industry trends affecting personal injury litigation.
• Qualifications :
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Mexico and in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven trial experience with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads while delivering quality results.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Client-focused with a commitment to ethical legal practice.
• Preferred :
• Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) a plus.
• Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, Smart Advocate).

Pay : $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
