About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-sufficient Server Assembly Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, configuring, and validating enterprise-grade server hardware to support customer deployments. You must be comfortable working with both consumer and enterprise computer components, following build specifications with precision, and maintaining a highly organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble physical server systems according to technical build sheets and customer requirements
- Install and cable components such as CPUs, memory, storage drives, NICs, GPU cards, etc.
- Perform basic system power-on and functional validation tests
- Accurately document build progress, serial numbers, and QA steps in internal systems
- Palletize servers and prepare for shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area with strong attention to inventory tracking
- Work independently to meet daily build targets and shipment deadlines
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and engineering teams when required
Qualifications
Hands-on experience assembling desktop, workstation, or server hardware (enterprise or consumer)Strong understanding of internal PC / server components and safe ESD handling practicesHighly organized, methodical, and attentive to detailProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAble to pass background and security screening requirementsAbility to lift and safely handle equipment up to 50 lbsNice to Have
