Job descriptionMinimum 5 years experience of experience involving the design of roadways, intersections / interchanges, ADA curb ramps, parking, and pedestrian facilities. PE license in the state of NJ or NY is preferred or able to obtain within 12 months. B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering is required. Be proficient with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and design tools such as INROADS and Civil 3D. Prior experience with AASHTO, NJDOT Specifications and Plans, and exposure to standards from other agencies such as NJTA, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, or PENNDOT Hybrid work schedule Career growth opportunities Excellent company culture Comprehensive benefits
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed roadway designs using MicroStation, InRoads, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Prepare and review contract documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for transportation projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design solutions are aligned with project goals and client requirements.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for design and project development.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
