About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience required.

License : Active nursing license required.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Must-Have :

Experience in cardiac telemetry and telemetry monitoring.

Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.

Experience with post-cardiac procedures and renal management.

Skill in IV starts and line management.

Familiarity with wound care and isolation precautions.

Description :

Registered Nurses in the Progressive Care Unit will care for patients with medical cardiac step-down needs.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 5.

RNs will be required to float between departments and units as needed.

Weekend shifts are required, totaling 8 shifts within a 6-week schedule.

Holiday shifts may be assigned as necessary.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to provide interdisciplinary support.

RNs will manage complex patient cases including post-cardiac angiograms and hemodialysis.

Ability to chart using electronic health record systems is preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and collaboration within a healthcare team.
