Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day leadership to the SAM team, including mentoring and coaching
  • Primary point of contact for all Strategic Account team communication, engagement or activities – working with Sales leadership, be the voice of customer voices within Onity, be the voice of Onity with all strategic customers
  • Oversees SAM compliance of all contractual requirements and assures that all KPIs are met
  • Primary partner with ONITY divisions (customer service, engineering, operations, finance / billing, technical support) working with the SAMs to engage appropriate subject matter experts to provide complete resolution to any client inquiries and / or problems.
  • Working with Sales leadership, involved in setting strategic plans and business growth strategies and / or, where appropriate, identifying cost efficiency opportunities for all strategic accounts
  • Ensures SAMs conduct timely (quarterly) business reviews with appropriate stakeholders ensuring forward account momentum
  • Exhibits a robust communication strategy and ensures accuracy of messaging (written and verbal) both internally and externally
  • Provide the annual plan for the Strategic Accounts in coordination and cooperation with Sales leadership and geographic Onity sales / support offices worldwide
  • Works with the wider Onity leadership team to provide a single communications strategy / voice. Is able to interrogate analytics to identify opportunities for sales growth, product change and / or innovation.
  • Travel to communicate Strategic Account vision to extended teams, and to engage with SAMs in strategic Global Account planning
  • Must model the capabilities of an ‘Executive Sales Professional’ to sales colleagues, and be a mentor and guide when appropriate.

  • YOU MUST HAVE :

  • 10+ years of Strategic or Key Account Management or other related Direct sales experience working for a major industrial, electronics, networking, or consumer products firm
  • 5+ years of People Leadership / People Management experience
  • Electronics, Access / Lock Solutions, Software, Networking, and / or Mobile Credentialing experience
  • Hotel / Lodging Industry Experience (having sold directly to, or made product and or technology decisions within)
  • Must be willing to travel 35% (Domestic)
