Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chesapeake, VA for a Horizontal Drill Locator. The Horizontal Drill Locator will be responsible for locating underground utilities, operating drilling equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and safety of drilling operations. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting blueprints, preparing job sites, performing bore tracking, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• 2-3 Years experience with locating the drill head during the bore with the horizontal directional drilling equipment
• Ability to interpret blueprints and prepare job sites
• Understanding of bore tracking and maintaining drilling equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• MUST HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training are beneficial
