PFS Education Coordinator

Completed Bachelor degree required

Minimum 2 years of experience in education / training, including curriculum development.

Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a PFS or revenue cycle setting.

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Onsite in Phoenix, AZ 85008 (Facility relocating to Tempe 85282 in September 2025)

Salary Range : $50,000 – $60,000 annually (DOE)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and innovative PFS (Patient Financial Services) Education Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of training initiatives within our revenue cycle department. This position is ideal for a self-starter who is passionate about education, process improvement, and enhancing team performance through strategic training programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain engaging training materials for new hires and existing staff across all PFS functions.

Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions, both in-person and virtual, tailored to team and department needs.

Spearhead a new training process that includes onboarding, continuing education, refresher courses, and compliance updates.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date training documentation and records.

Collaborate with department leaders to identify knowledge gaps and performance trends.

Perform regular audits and assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of PFS operations by aligning training initiatives with organizational goals.

Qualifications :

Completed Bachelor degree required

Minimum 2 years of experience in education / training, including curriculum development.

Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a PFS or revenue cycle setting.

Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive training programs.

Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience facilitating group training.

Detail-oriented with strong documentation, auditing, and organizational skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and training platforms (, LMS, Zoom, Teams).
