Senior Android Engineer

Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Senior Android Engineer in New York, NY

Job Duties : Develop new product features and applications on custom Android-based systems. Analyze and assess feasibility of designing and developing new software applications within design and capacity constraints, Design and develop new software application programs on Peloton Android platform in a manner that is compatible with the platform's architecture. Conduct Android architecture discussion and evolve Android architecture. Work with engineers and programmers on the development, modification and improvement of Peloton's existing Android software platform architecture. Conduct Peer code review. Develop and direct testing and validation of programming developed by Peloton software development team. Participate in product feature discussion and technical assessment of new product features. Assess new software application design based on understanding of consumer needs and technical design constraints. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements : Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements : (1) JUnit; (2) Mockito; (3) Developing features and applications on Android systems; (4) Mobile Device Management; (5) Bash; (6) Android architecture / system design; (7) Conducting peer code reviews; (8) Unit testing; (9) Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Gradle Build systems; and (10) Feasibility designs. Any suitable combination of education, training and / or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary : $179,982.00 - 234,196.00 per annum.
