Summary

RNDC is looking for energetic Delivery Drivers with a valid State driver’s license. You will help ensure products are delivered on time and orders are filled accurately, with training and support to make a meaningful difference. Drivers service an established set of customers including grocery stores, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and other venues.

Responsibilities

Accurately deliver all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer’s account by hand truck.
Safely operate a commercial vehicle and perform a pre- and post-trip inspection, noting any vehicle defects.
Make an average of 20 timely deliveries per day; may deliver to more accounts during high-volume seasons.
Verify receipt of the correct order with the customer by checking product against invoice, obtain customer signature, and collect payment if necessary.
Ensure physical security of the truck at all times.
Provide regular feedback to management on route changes, concerns, or opportunities.
Abide by DOT hours-of-service rules and regulations for your license type.
May utilize a smartphone for interaction with HOS software, POD invoicing, and / or driver-monitoring programs.

What you bring to RNDC

High school diploma or GED preferred; two years delivery experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Requires a current State driver’s license; ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.

Must obtain valid DOT medical certification card and file appropriately with state Motor Vehicle Department.

Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
