Decision Support Specialist (Intermediate – Qlik Sense)

About the Role Our client is seeking a Decision Support Specialist (Intermediate) to develop Qlik Sense dashboards and reporting solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

The consultant will work closely with engineers, scientists, and business staff to ensure data integrity, apply statistical methods, and define key metrics.

This role requires hands-on experience with Qlik Sense development, data cleaning, and statistical analysis , along with strong communication skills to engage with non-technical stakeholders.  Key Responsibilities Develop intuitive, visually appealing Qlik Sense dashboards and reports .

Partner with program areas to determine best-fit visualizations and KPIs .

Perform data gathering, cleaning, and validation to ensure accuracy.

Apply statistical methods to analyze data and extract insights.

Optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes .

Monitor data quality; propose cleansing and enhancement methods.

Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making .

Stay updated with trends in data analysis and visualization tools .  Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Qlik Sense dashboards.

Strong knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and statistical analysis methods .

Excellent problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines.  Preferred Skills Experience with Alteryx .

Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar .

Familiarity with environmental data or regulatory data sets .
