Client Advisor

Join our brand new IWC Schaffhausen Boutique team in our store in downtown Portland, OR. The boutique is owned and operated by Ben Bridge Jeweler and features an IWC-branded storefront that exclusively sells IWC timepieces. As a Client Advisor you will deliver unparalleled client experiences, embodying the essence of IWC and Ben Bridge Jeweler. Our specialists are result-driven individuals who receive industry-best training and continuous support throughout their employment journey.

Role Overview

The IWC Client Advisor is responsible for delivering stellar client experience and achieving personal sales targets as well as those of the boutique. The adviser acts as an ambassador of IWC at all times with client satisfaction being the utmost goal.

Primary Duties

  • Provide personalized customer experience when hosting clients.
  • Achieve and exceed turnover targets set by the manager through effective sales of watches and related services.
  • Identify and create sales opportunities within and outside the boutique, leveraging personal networks to attract new clients.
  • Continuously innovate to exceed client expectations and enhance their overall experience.
  • Cultivate strong personal relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds and maintain these connections through meticulous CRM activities.
  • Handle customer service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of IWC's history, product offerings, and partnerships as well as deep knowledge of the watch and luxury industries.
  • Deliver exceptional client service to differentiate the boutique from competitors.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for IWC, both within and outside the boutique.
  • Execute operational tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain the boutique according to global IWC visual merchandising standards.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to support the overall organization of the boutique and foster teamwork.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education; higher education preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in sales or hospitality.
  • Proficient in utilizing CRM technology for clienteling.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to cultivate strong networks.
  • Resourceful in generating sales leads.
  • Driven by results and exhibits a strong aptitude for sales.
  • Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and strong organizational skills in managing diverse tasks.
  • Thorough understanding of client satisfaction and luxury experiences, with a keen awareness of etiquette and human behavior.
  • Adaptable approach tailored to individual client needs.
  • Open and outgoing personality that fosters positive interactions.
  • Displays eagerness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and growth.
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required.
  • We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time roles. The store will open in November 2025, with hiring and training beginning in October 2025. Multiple candidates will be selected for this position.

    The full-time / part-time hourly schedule is designed to provide flexible staffing during key events and peak selling times. Eligible employees (minimum 20 hours / week) receive health and welfare benefits, sales bonuses, monthly incentives, and SPIFFs. Other benefits include employee merchandise discounts, paid training and paid time off (vacation, holidays, volunteer time, jury duty). Paid training includes Gemological Institute of America certification following one year of service. Ben Bridge Jeweler also offers medical, dental and vision insurance and a 401(k) plan with company match.
