Job descriptionWork in the Resource Pool, floating to Med / Surg Tele and may care for ED hold patients Hospital setting with a diverse adult patient population 12-hour night shifts required with schedule flexibility to meet unit needs Expected to work every other weekend Must work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas (or Christmas Eve), and New Year's (or New Year's Eve) Use of Epic EMR system within the past two years required Expected to float throughout hospital units as needed Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not available in the area Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April No block scheduling permitted Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays Must explain all employment gaps over 90 days during application Active NY RN license or proof of application with applied date required A minimum of 1 year recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience Current AHA BLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to starting Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred Epic charting system experience within the last 2 years is mandatory High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
