Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Under the supervision of the Employee Experience Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in attracting, engaging, and hiring professionals who are passionate about serving our communities through life-changing addiction treatment. You will be the first point of contact for many of our candidates and a champion of our values — helping us build a mission-aligned, high-performing workforce as we expand our OTP (Opioid Treatment Program) services across the country.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for clinical, operational, and administrative roles across CMS sites.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and understand team culture and candidate fit.
  • Source, screen, and engage diverse, qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct phone interviews and manage candidate progress through the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, facilitate feedback loops, and support timely hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to recruitment marketing strategies, including writing compelling job postings and career page updates.
  • Maintain strong communication with candidates to ensure a high-touch, responsive experience.
  • Maintain strong and influential presence with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, sourcing channel effectiveness).
  • Ensure hiring processes are compliant with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Support special talent projects including hiring events, creative sourcing strategies, and recruitment system enhancements.
  • Requirements : Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or high-growth service industries.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., iCIMS, Paylocity experience preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent at building rapport.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Psychology, Marketing or Human Resources or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Tools and Equipment Requirements

  • The ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier is required.
  • Frequent use of Microsoft office products, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to use the internet and various web browser software is required.

  • Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
  • Frequent and prolonged typing and frequent and prolonged operation of computer, keyboard, and telephones required.
