Senior Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of advanced nuclear reactor technology. Key Responsibilities : Design equipment and reactor components based on input from engineering and project teams Develop documentation for component testing and analysis Conduct mechanical analyses using FEA tools like ANSYS Qualifications : B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field (advanced degrees a plus) 5+ years of mechanical equipment / component design experience Experience with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design tools Strong background in FEA, stress analysis, and mechanical calculations (preferably with ANSYS) Familiarity with ASME BPVC Section III or VIII, and seismic analysis standards (ASCE 4 / 7 / 43) is highly desirable
