Nursing Education Director

Responsible for all Nursing Education, academic affiliations, Magnet and Nursing Performance Improvement activities at Chestnut Hill Hospital. Responsibilities of this position require Magnet education, inter / intra department / discipline collaboration, application development, and submission. In addition, performs advanced analysis for quality opportunities and assist in the development of ongoing performance improvement efforts. Works closely with the CNO in the provisions of nursing care and delivering high quality across the health system. Responsible for leading and developing a system level staffing strategic plan. Responsible for providing direction, and oversight of Shared Governance Councils. Implements processes aimed at maximizing efficiency and delivering the right staff to the right bed at the right time.

Education

Master's Degree Science in Nursing (Required)

Doctorate Degree (Preferred)

Experience

5 years experience in Nursing (Required)

3 years experience in Nursing Leadership (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

Amer Nurses Credentialing Cntr (Required)
