Role : Cloud Security Engineer

Location : Irvine, CA

Job Description :

• Must Have 8+ years overall Experience.
• Must have 7+ years of Experience in Cyber Security.
• Cloud Engineering Design and implement secure configurations for AWS services (e.g., IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Deploy and manage CSPM tools to monitor and remediate misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CICD pipelines.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and automation scripts.
• Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, compliance drift, and anomalous activity.
• Must Have 5-10 years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS security services (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail).
• Hands-on experience with CSPM platforms and cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO).Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Terraform) for automation and remediation.
• Familiarity with container security (EKS, ECS) and serverless security best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP) are a plus.
• Must Have 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake and Power BI.
• Experience with AWS data lake architecture and services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lake Formation).
• Familiarity with information security metrics and reporting frameworks.
• Solid understanding of ETLELT processes and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation
• Preferred Skills :
• Exposure to security tools and log sources (e.g., SIEM, CSPM, vulnerability scanners).
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
• Experience with CICD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
