Overview

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in Tacoma, WA. This assignment offers up to 2 weeks per month of ongoing coverage with strong hospital and clinic support.

Practice Highlights

Coverage Dates Needed :

November

December

Ongoing : Up to 2 weeks / month (6 9 month duration)

Setting : Hospital (ER coverage 24 / 7) + Outpatient clinic (3.5 days / week, mornings)

Procedures : Full spectrum of orthopedic cases (excluding complex pelvic cases)

EMR : Epic

Dedicated PA support in ER, MA in clinic

Reason for coverage : Provider resignation

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon REQUIRED

WA license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) REQUIRED

Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon REQUIRED

Minimum 5 years of Level II trauma experience REQUIRED

BLS & DEA REQUIRED (or willing to obtain after offer)

Availability at name clear REQUIRED

Clean malpractice preferred

Schedule & Coverage

ER Coverage : 24 / 7 with PA support

Outpatient Clinic : 3.5 days per week (mornings, Mon Fri)

Admissions / Patients : Varies (0 7 per day)
