Purchasing Manager-Construction
Location : Central / West Houston (Onsite)

A growing residential construction company in Central / West Houston is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations and support the success of fast-paced construction projects. This role requires strong vendor management, cost control, and material coordination skills to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the full purchasing cycle—from planning and purchase orders to tracking and inventory
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and schedules with vendors to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with project managers, field teams, and accounting
- Maintain accurate material take-offs and supplier records
- Resolve delivery issues and discrepancies; track supplier performance
- Identify and implement procurement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Requirements :
2–5 years of purchasing or materials management experience in the construction industry (required)Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor negotiations, and inventory controlProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelHighly organized with strong time management and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred)Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plusCompensation & Perks :
