About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum assignment starting December 22 – January 5, 2025 , with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage.

Position Details :

Setting : Hospital-based

Procedures : ~5–6 cases / week

CABG

Arterial & redo coronary revascularization

Heart valve repair / replacement

Thoracic surgeries (lung resections, pneumonectomy, decortication, mediastinal surgery, chest wall reconstruction)

Tube thoracostomy, pericardial window

ORs : 16

ER Volume : 45K / year

EMR : EPIC

Support Team : CT-NP, CT-PA, CT rounding nurse

Patient Population : Adult & geriatric

Credentialing : ~30 days

Travel : Flight, hotel, rental car covered

Note : Application / credentialing fees not reimbursed

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Active Indiana medical license + DEA / CSR

Available for all listed dates

Able to take 24-hr call (includes 4 hours gratis)
