Customer Operations Sr. Representative

Overview :

Are you detail-oriented self-motivated and looking for a role that offers deep exposure to life insurance operations and cross-functional collaboration Join our Customer Operations team as a Senior Representative where youll play a critical role in supporting claims processing legal documentation review and beneficiary tracking. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured queue-based environment and enjoys solving complex administrative challenges with precision and care.

Youll be part of a small high-performing team that values autonomy reliability and continuous learning. This role offers strong networking potential across support services and claims teams .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Claims Briefs : Compile distribute and complete claim briefs based on death notifications coordinating with internal teams to gather contract data.

Beneficiary Research : Investigate and verify beneficiary information for self-administered claims using internal systems .

Legal Documentation Review : Process and validate transfer of ownership and power of attorney documents ensuring compliance with state-specific legal standards.

Accounting Support : Assist with claims voucher entries to ensure accurate fund transfers and offsets.

Miscellaneous Processes : Participate in weekly and quarterly operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

Strong attention to detail and focus.

Self-motivated and reliable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working independently in a queue-based environment.

Open to training; no prior life insurance experience required.

Ability to work with legal documents and conduct state-level compliance research.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The estimated base pay range for this job is :

$18.27 - $31.73

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience skills knowledge etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
