Key Responsibilities

Contact insurance companies to verify patient coverage and benefits prior to appointments

Gather and document comprehensive benefit information and generate cost estimates for services

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate pre-registration data in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

Completed 2 years in college

At least 5 years of experience in Healthcare Insurance

Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or a medical-related field preferred

Understanding of insurance policies, medical terminology, and prior authorization processes
