Position Title : summer Loan Officer Intern

(two positions)

Pay Rate : $17 per hour

Colonial Farm Credit ( www.colonialfarmcredit.com ) is an agricultural credit cooperation and provides loans for :

• Production capital for both full-time and part-time farmers
• Buildings, machinery, livestock and equipment
• Farms and country homes
• Land purchase, home construction, and improvements
• Ag-related businesses

Position Summary :

We have an excellent employment opportunity for two loan officer Interns in our Mechanicsville VA office.

This position will

o serve present and prospective member customers with sound short-term, intermediate-term, and long-term loans according to Association and district policies, standards, and procedures

o formulate business development strategies that target potential Farm Credit member customers, as well as referrals from builders, realtors, and other sources

o represent the Association at local events and meetings

o promote related services to all current and prospective member customers
