Your Day at Lowe's

As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met. Daily responsibilities may vary by department and you will work in one of the following departments based on hiring needs and skillsets : Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores may be required.

Working Conditions

Environmental factors vary by location. You may work indoors or outdoors with exposure to varying climates, noises, and equipment. Lifting may require team efforts for heavier items, and proper training or assistance is required for powered equipment.
