Description

Provide leadership in the areas of quality control, label coordination and break relief. Responsible for all production, quality and other efficiencies of the cell.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the team of direct labor activities to accomplish the following :

a) Production standards are met

b) Quality standards are met

c) Cross train team members on all stations of assigned cells

d) Individual machine cells are safe, well organized and meet             compliance

2. Quality Function (all QC functions for the assigned cell) :

a) Compliance on all quality system paperwork

b) Make good decisions on acceptable part criteria

c) Perform functional gaging

d) Perform FPA function (QC portion)

e) Validate packaging compliance

f) Responsible for visual audit of molded parts

3. Operator Support :

a) Perform break function on assigned team members

b) Provide tools and supplies required by team members

c) Keep production boards updated and accurate

d) Validate scrap reporting

4. Technology Interface (all label coordinator functions) :

a) Perform label changes as required

b) Control printers and supplies

c) Provide accurate reporting on manufacturing and quality

5. Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality         Policy.

6. Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries,

Physical Demands :

• Standing – while training the operators, while operating the machines
• Walking – to check correct labeling
