A company is looking for a freelance legal writer with strong legal backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Research, write, and edit informational content for consumer audiences
Revise content for legal accuracy and optimize for SEO and user experience
Translate legal concepts into accessible language for a general audience
Required Qualifications
3+ years of legal research and writing experience
Bachelor's degree and J.D. required
Experience writing for a consumer audience; web content writing experience preferred
Recent legal practice experience preferred
Experience with legal research tools such as WestLaw or LexisNexis
