Machine Operator 1 (3rd Shift)

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals .

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned equipment
• May use computer to load printer software
• Load / unload sealing and printing equipment with product and packaging material
• Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
• Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
• Work with Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment
• Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
• Break down scrap packages
• Able to work effectively within small teams
• Accurately complete scrap tickets
• Accurately complete daily production sheet
• Accurately update hourly goal board
• Maintain production pace and standards
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
• Practice 5Ss
