Emergency Dept. Physician Opening in WA Located in Goldendale, WA (115 miles from Portland) Group is seeking a full-time physician to join exceptional Emergency Department team - 24-hour shifts- Average census is 15 visits / day. - Full-time benefits are offered at six 24-hour shifts per month- Benefits package includes M / D / V / Rx- Short & Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off, CME- License and professional membership fees- Malpractice insurance- Competitive salary- Signing bonus- Temporary housing- Relocation assistance are available The ER is staffed with one physician, two RNs and one ED Tech. LifeFlight base only 30 miles away allowing for extremely fast air transfer response time. Comfortable sleep room near ER available for physician on duty. About Goldendale A rural, critical-access hospital located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. Group offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including general surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, respiratory therapy, PT / OT, Home Health and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24 / 7 Hospitalist staff. The care team consists of approximately 300 staff and is one of the largest employers in the county.
