American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a high-acuity stroke thrombectomy team with proficiency in GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position based in a short-term acute care hospital in the Interventional Radiology unitHandles a range of procedures including vascular, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR casesStroke thrombectomy facility with neurovascular IR responsibilitiesWork schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMCall required every 3rd or 4th weekend and 1-2 days per week, including some holiday rotationsNo floating to other units or facilities required under normal circumstancesPatient population includes trauma and neurovascular acute casesUses GE and Siemens fluoroscopy equipmentCharting is documented in Cerner; prior Cerner experience requiredScrubs are provided by the facilityResponsibilities include performing IR procedures, assisting with neurovascular and trauma interventions, and supporting stroke thrombectomy careAll travelers are expected to maintain professional conduct; any issues may result in immediate contract terminationReturn staff must be separated from the facility for at least 3 years before returning as a travelerCandidates must live at least 50 miles from the facilityUp to 8 hours of pre-assignment modules must be completed within one week of signingMaximum of 10 days RTO considered, and one holiday coverage required if RTO overlaps holidays\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1-2 years Interventional Radiology experience preferred; neurovascular IR experience requiredProficiency in scrubbing cases and working with wiresExperience with GE and Siemens fluoro rooms requiredMust be able to perform vascular, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR proceduresCerner charting experience requiredValid state license required if applicableWillingness to participate in licensure process if not yet licensedWill accept first-time travelers\n Benefits\n
