Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Progressive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 19 : 00 - 07 : 00 Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Active RN License Certifications : ACLS and BLS; TNCC is a plus Must-Have : Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients. Must have ICU experience. Must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, and a desire for excellence. Must demonstrate teamwork and strong communication skills. Must be able to work in a diverse environment. Description : The position requires caring for patients in a progressive care setting. You will provide total care, primarily administered by RNs. Equipment used includes ventilators, IV pumps, and glucometers. Staff utilize mobile phones and technology. Personal protective equipment is provided for suspected COVID-19 patients. Documentation is completed using a specific electronic system. All nursing shifts are twelve hours, occurring every other weekend. Holidays may require additional shifts. Nursing staff may float to other units as needed, with priority for intensive care. Patient care includes hourly rounding and bedside reporting. You will follow established guidelines for patient experience. The facility is dedicated to high quality, compassionate healthcare. Advanced skills needed include ventilator management and critical care knowledge. Procedures performed include intubations, cardioversions, and other critical interventions. Self-scheduling options are available within set guidelines. The unit is equipped with cutting-edge technology and experienced staff. Quality measures are maintained to competitive standards.
