Job descriptionUpon committing to a job at one of the participating Munson Healthcare facilities, you will receive $10,000 before you even begin your career!!! The Munson Healthcare Laboratory System provides a comprehensive laboratory testing menu and performs more than 5 million tests a year. Our lab professionals are a valued part of patient diagnosis and care. Using highly sophisticated diagnostic instrumentation and technology, our highly skilled, collaborative team delivers timely, accurate results to hospitals, offices and other care providers throughout northern Michigan Our dynamic work environment includes many opportunities for growth and development. A Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology or related degree. Registered Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent. Nationally recognized certification or eligible (ASCP) as a MT(ASCP), MLS (ASCP) or CLS (ASCP). Must be certified within 12 months of hire and recertify if / as required Applications will be screened and interviews will be offered to selected students. Interviews are conducted before graduation by lab leaders. If selected, you will receive an offer and an agreement specifying a 3 year work commitment. The $10,000 awards are given after the student is accepted and the agreement has been signed. Award recipients will interview with lab department managers
Award recipients are placed into full-time positions with full employee benefits. These positions begin after graduation.
