Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, rotating Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech Job Details : Work Monday through Friday, 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM On-call requirements : 1-2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend Possible holiday call with 30-minute callback time Cover both vascular and neuro interventional radiology procedures Required certifications : ARRT(R), BLS ACLS certification preferred Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility) Scrubs provided by facility Must be proficient in cerebral procedures, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring Maintain sterile technique while assembling supplies Prepare entry sites using sterile technique Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure with accurate documentation Participate in on-call rotation for emergent procedures 24 hours a day Act as laboratory code team member initiating resuscitative measures Document all procedures and utilize inventory control system Maintain specialization in neuroradiology and vascular IR procedures Use EPIC charting system Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract Facility : This major medical center operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department providing both vascular and neuro procedures.
