LHH is hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Cash Applications Specialist to join our client in South Charlotte on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately applying incoming payments to customer accounts, researching discrepancies, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process.
Key Responsibilities
Process and apply daily incoming payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks, credit cards) to customer accounts.
Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Experience in a high-volume transaction environment.
Familiarity with lockbox processing and bank portals.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Schedule
Compensation : $24 / hour – $27 / hour
Hybrid schedule : 3 days in office, 2 days work from home
Pay Details : $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
