Overview
Associate Director, Medical Affairs role at BridgeBio. The role supports the development, coordination, and execution of strategic medical initiatives across publications, content development, congress planning, and operational excellence. This individual will serve as a core liaison between scientific communications, field medical teams, and internal stakeholders to drive medical insights and execution that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
Base pay range
$180,000.00 / yr - $260,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Publications Lead : Maintain and regularly update publication dashboards to track impact, metrics, status, timelines, and deliverables across the publication plan; prepare slide presentations and summarize key decisions for internal meetings; support the development of plain language summaries (PLS); liaise with authors, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and accuracy; manage cross-functional teams for publications planning, review, and medical trainings
- Medical Congress Planning : Lead medical congress planning in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders; manage medical presence logistics, congress calendars, and insight capture / reporting tools; develop congress briefing materials and post-congress reports
- Medical Content Development and Field Medical Content : Lead scientific content development and oversee writing projects from planning to submission; review messaging for alignment and scientific accuracy; develop content for the field medical affairs team with the Field Medical Lead; partner with MSLs to drive medical training decks and FAQs for high-priority publications

This is a U.S.-based remote role that requires travel as needed for visits to our San Francisco Office.
Who You Are
Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, Ph.D., or MD) required4+ years of experience in medical affairs; experience in rare disease and neuromuscular medicine preferredExperience managing scientific publications and medical operations; proven ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environmentKnowledge of GPP, ICMJE, AMWA guidelines; ability to provide guidance to cross-functional and global stakeholdersFamiliarity with publication management systems (e.g., Datavision / iEnvision) and Veeva preferredStrong writing, communication, and project management skills; ability to deliver effective presentations to senior-level audiencesTravel approximately 20% of the timeBenefits and Rewards
