- NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!! New graduates are welcome. Must be able to complete point of service documentation and provide group and concurrent therapy as scheduled. Must be flexible throughout the day for changes that occur. Weekday and Weekend hours available. Schedule is flexible. In-House Therapy department
The duties and responsibilities of Occupational therapist may include :
Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptomsDiagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment planTeaching patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniquesProviding stimulation, exercise programs to promote healingRestoring patient's function, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilitiesSupervision of Occupational Therapy Assistant(s)Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test resultsCreating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patientsAdvising patients on exercise techniquesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to complete point of service documentationProvide group and concurrent therapy as scheduledFull description available upon scheduled interviewQualifications :
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS : 1. Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico or proof of license and eligibility. 2. Must have appropriate Doctorate degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy; or 3. The qualifying Occupational Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Occupational Therapy and have or be eligible for Occupational Therapy licensure in New Mexico
