The cardiac surgery program at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia is seeking an experienced FT cardiac surgery PA! Surgical call is very manageable - 1 weekend every 6th week In this role, the practitioner will first assist in cardiac surgery operations and assist in the management and implementation of the health care plan for Cardiac Surgical Service as defined by surgical attending staff. This role is a hybrid with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Responsibilities (as approved by the Medical Staff Board) : First assist in cardiac surgery procedures Responsible for inpatient care related to pre and postoperative heart surgery and patients in the CCU and Telemetry unit as defined by surgical attending.
