Title : Registered Nurse - Oncology

Pay Range : $47.53-$67.90 Per Hr

Description

This position involves providing specialized oncology nursing care in a clinical setting.

The role requires a dedicated professional to deliver patient-centered care, working onsite with a typical schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.

Expertise in electronic health record systems is preferred.

Requirements

Deliver patient care using a relationship-centered model and nursing process.

Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking.

Integrate assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery.

Collaborate with healthcare team for care plan development and evaluation.

Prioritize patient care, including teaching and planning aftercare.

Educate patients and caregivers about care plans and health promotion.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members.

Qualifications

Valid NYS RN License

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Minimum 2 years of experience in medicine and chemotherapy

Minimum 2 years of RN experience

1 year of travel experience for travel positions, not required for per diem

Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
