Audit Senior

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000

Location : Latham, NY

Position Overview

The Audit Senior is responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing valuable insights to clients. This position requires a deep understanding of auditing principles and practices to effectively manage audit processes and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including performing fieldwork and managing client relationships.
• Review and evaluate internal controls and compliance procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support in audit processes.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders effectively.
