Temp to hire, long term job opportunity. Candidate must have a QC background within manufacturing or aerospace.

Reports to : Quality Manager

Job Summary :

The QC & Documentation Specialist will be responsible for the flow of information (Verbal & Written) to and from the

suppliers and customers as well as support for quality and engineering functions.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (some college preferred) or comparable work experience.

Experience & Training

2+ year(s) work experience in administration / customer service (preferably in a manufacturing environment).

Experience with ISO 9001 environment a plus. Must be familiar with MRP / ERP systems. Must have a working

knowledge or Prop 65, Reach, Rohs and conflict minerals.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must possess strong interpersonal skills to deal with people at all

levels within and outside of the organization. Must have experience with word processing, spreadsheets, computer

applications; Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure and meet deadlines; Ability to organize,

prioritize and successfully multitask; Be adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Responsible for responding to request for new, missed or updated documents from the customer service staff.

Handle requests for documents such as NAFTA, ROHS, etc.

Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Input information as required into the ERP system.

Provides engineering support for quality issues.

Identifies customer quality requirements by analyzing customer purchase orders and creating a quality plan meeting

those requirements. Reviews companys Bill of Material and adds quality requirements. Also, evaluates suppliers

purchase orders ensuring they are approved sources and conform to quality requirements defined on Bill of Material.

Compiles and verifies proper and accurate documentation for part prior to shipping.

Assist with ISO9001 / AS9100 documents as necessary.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

80% sitting at desk, 20% walking / standing; Bending, lifting up to 10 lbs. Heavy contact with computers / calculators,

repetitive finger / hand movement; Strenuous eye focus utilizing the computer and paperwork.
