We have a client in Central Connecticut looking for an Invasive Cardiologist. This is a Locum assignment with possible conversion to joining the team permanently if the right Provider is found.

• Dates of Coverage : Immediate for 3-6 months with possible extension
• Schedule : 1-2 weeks coverage per month (Mon-Sundays on site with night telephonic call and come in as needed)
• Call Ratio : 1 : 4
• Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day : approx 6-12 per day total / with APP support
• Trauma Level / Designation : Level One

DESIRED SKILL-SET

Non-Invasive Procedures : Echocardiography,Electrical Cardioversions,Electrocardiograms (EKGs),Treadmill Stress Tests,Chemical Stress Tests.

Invasive Procedures : Angioplasty and Stenting,Embolic Protection,Balloon Angioplasty,Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI),Temp pacemakers / balloon pump.
