What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to address security-related concerns specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

Remain alert to potential threats and / or hazards within the location, reporting any concerns promptly according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

CPR Certification is preferred.

Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
