Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

Our Client : Our Client is a full-service healthcare provider that has been serving the community of Panama City, FL since 1981.

The Position : Our Client is seeking a qualified registered nurse. The ideal candidate will coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation :

$30.76 to $41.50 per hour depending on experience

Night Differential : $4.75

Weekend Differential : $3.00

National Certification Bonus - $2.00

Sign On Bonus

$10,000 Days

$15,000 Nights

Up to $5,000 in relocation

Job Responsibilities :

Available Shifts :

Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.

Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.

Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.

Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Job Requirements :

1 year of acute care experience required

Open to LTAC, Home Health or Acute Rehabilitation experience of no less than 1 year

Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.

If compact license held, an active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
