Occupational Therapist Registered Hillsdale, MI Pay

From : $40 per hour MUST : Experienced Occupational Therapist

Registered Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Registered

in Michigan Must have experience working in a skilled nursing unit

and / or Inpatient setting DUTIES : Occupational Therapist Registered

will be responsible for, but not limited to : Patient evaluation :

Assess patients' medical history, abilities, and environment (home,

work, etc.) to determine their needs and goals Treatment planning :

Create customized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on the

evaluation, with the aim of helping patients live more

independently Therapeutic intervention : Implement treatment plans

by teaching patients new skills and techniques to perform daily

tasks like dressing, cooking, or driving Adaptive equipment use :

Recommend, teach, and help patients use assistive devices such as

wheelchairs, adaptive seating, or other equipment Patient and

family education : Educate patients, their families, and other

caregivers on how to best support the patient's recovery and

long-term management of their condition Collaboration : Work closely

with a team of other healthcare professionals, including doctors,

nurses, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure

comprehensive care Documentation : Maintain detailed and

confidential patient records, progress reports, and documentation
