We are looking for an Account Manager for Federal Sales to expand our team focused on providing secure and scalable networks for the U.S. Government.

Your Role :

As the Federal DoW Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving program-based growth and executing strategic capture plans within designated Department of War accounts. You will manage direct prospecting, pipeline development, and full-lifecycle sales engagement, selling RUCKUS solutions directly and through partners.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate success in selling hardware, software, and networking technologies to senior leadership within Federal DoW agencies.
  • Manage complete sales cycles, including account planning, capture strategy, and revenue growth through both direct and partner-assisted models.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Federal procurement, budgeting cycles, FAR compliance, and government program capture.
  • Leverage strong existing relationships with Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs) and DoW decision-makers.
  • Have expert knowledge of wireless and networking technologies, including the competitive landscape.
  • Utilize familiarity with MEDDIC / MEDDPICC or similar sales frameworks for mission-driven solution selling.

Required Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of Federal sales experience in networking, hardware, or security technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
  • A competitive, goal-driven 'hunter' mentality.
  • Desirable Qualifications :

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and forecasting tools.
  • Proven track record in managing named accounts while developing pipelines and achieving quotas.
  • Strong negotiation skills with government stakeholders and partners.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of networking technologies and competitive positioning.

    We offer a competitive salary range of $112,500.00-$200,000.00, which includes base salary and commissions dependent on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company Incentive Plan. New employees will enjoy eleven paid holidays, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), and various other leave options.
