DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Description :

Burnett Medical Center is seeking a Director of Nursing for our nursing home.  We are located in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, just over an hour from the Twin Cities and few miles from the St. Croix River.

HOURS & SHIFT :  1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), Days, Monday through Friday with occasional evening / weekend availability needed

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Supervise the functions and activities of Burnett Medical Center's nursing home, including training of nursing personnel and oversight of patient care, in accordance with current federal, state and local standards.

This is a benefit-eligible position including medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, employer-paid short-term disability, along with up to a 3% match in our 401k retirement plan.

Requirements :

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
• Education or at least 2 years experience in Nursing Service Administration.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Great customer service skills and a love of helping others.
