Director, Home Health (RN) - Home Care - Full Time (up to 25k Sign-on Bonus)

Position Summary :

Responsible for ensuring the quality and safe delivery of clinical services that reflect the agencies philosophy and standards through planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating services, programs, and activities.

Education, License & Cert :

Bachelors' Degree required, Masters' Degree desirable. RN required.

Experience :

One year of supervisory experience or experience in health service administration required. Home health or related experience preferred.

Essential Functions :

• Organizes and directs the ongoing functions of Guthrie Home Health NY.
• Oversees all functions of the Agency to ensure compliance with all required regulations. Maintains a high level of professional competence by continuing his or her education, networking, having knowledge and experience with staff, participating in meetings, and assisting agency employees toward similar goals.
• Manages, and evaluates the provision of both professional and ancillary home health services to ensure that all patient's needs are met, and quality care is provided in accordance with Federal, State, and program guidelines.
• Oversees an organized process of continuous quality improvement.
• Demonstrates effective time management.
• Performs annual performance reviews.
• Functions under the direction of the SR. Director of post-acute care services.
• Assumes responsibility for the day to day functioning of Medicare certified home health agency.
• Must have excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills and facilitate communication between team members.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates agency staffing to ensure adequate staffing. Understands state and federal regulatory requirements and leads the organization in accordance with these requirements.
